The best way to predict the future is to study the past

The Historical, Economical and Social Importance of Payments

The Historical, Economic and Social Importance of Payments is the first course of the Payments in Digital Finance Specialisation – CFTE’s programme designed for finance professionals to get a comprehensive understanding of how money has and will change with the rise of digital currencies and changing consumer behaviour.

Looking back at history, money is what differentiates us from the natural world. We traded seashells for food, moved onto copper coins, gold coins, paper bills, and finally ones-and-zeros. Looking forward to the future, we are witnessing a radical change in the way these ones-and-zeros are facilitated, which has a global impact on how we live our lives. If you’re curious about how this lifestyle will look like, enroll now.

With this online course, you'll:

This course is taught by banks leaders. payments veterans. disruptive entrepreneurs. researchers. payments experts.
