Latifa is currently heading Data Management at the Road and Transport Authority in Dubai. As part of her responsibilities and duties, she is developing strategies to enhance data culture and literacy in the authority including data governance programs, AI ethics, utilizing emerging data sources, and most recent data technologies in smart cities.Prior to that she was the Head of Algorithms Development and Analysis at the Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center in the Ministry of Cabinet Affairs; in charge of Digital transformation of the Statistical business. She was worked on the establishment of the UN Global Platform for Big Data and Data Science in the MENA region in collaboration with the private sector in addition, to enabling the Data science community in the arab world.
