Who is eligible for IBF funding?
Eligibility
Eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents (PRs) can access CFTE’s IBF-accredited courses at heavily subsidised rates.
Currently, Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above may receive a 70% subsidy, while Singapore Citizens below 40 and Permanent Residents may receive a 50% subsidy.
Participants are required to complete the course within 3 months to remain eligible for the subsidy. Incomplete programmes may not qualify for the subsidy claim and may be charged at the full enrolment fee.
IBF-FTS vs IBF-STS
CFTE currently offers selected courses accredited under the IBF Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS). Eligible Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents can enrol directly in these self-sponsored programmes without company sponsorship.
Some other IBF-supported programmes may fall under the IBF Financial Training Scheme (IBF-FTS), which requires employer sponsorship. Please check the specific course requirements and confirm that your organisation is listed in the Financial Institutions Directory before applying.
