What is the process?
- Connect your wallet: When you access the page, you will be prompted to connect your wallet. Click the `connect wallet` button and
- A MetaMask pop up will appear: You will be asked to connect to the site: https://cloudflare-ipfs.com/ipfs/, this provides your wallet with access to the data needed to mint the NFT. Click approve
- Connect to the Polygon Network: you will be prompted to connect to the Polygon Network, click the orange button and a pop up will appear. Approve this transaction.
- Mint your NFT: Click the blue `Mint` button. A MetaMask popup will appear, you should approve this transaction. The page will then take a few moments to load, as your NFT mints.
- You do not need to pay any fees: all the fees are being taken care by CFTE for our community.
- Congratulations you have minted your NFT!
What is minting?
Minting is the term used to describe the process for turning digital files into non-fungible tokens. By clicking ‘Mint’ above, you will mint your first NFT as part of our predefined collection Tiger 888, Created by CFTE.
Is minting free?
Minting involves interacting with the blockchain and so a gas fee will be incurred. CFTE however will incur these costs so you will not be charged any fees minting above. What is the Polygon network?
The polygon network is layer two protocol. It is a similar to the Ethereum blockchain, however it is cheaper and more environmentally friendly. When you click to mint, you will be prompted to switch to the Polygon Network. Click confirm, and you will then be able to mint your NFT.
Where can I view my NFT?
Once you have minted your NFT, you will be able to view it in OpenSea, the worlds largest NFT market place. You will also be able to view the full Tiger888 collection, and see all the other variations of our tigers that have been claimed by our commmunity.
