Questions you might have about Tiger 888
Non-Fungible Tokens or NFTs are tokens which can be used to represent ownership of unique items – from pieces of art, collectibles, to even real estate.
They can have only one official owner at a time which is secured by blockchain, meaning no one can modify the record of ownership or replicate an exact copy of the NFT into existence.
First and foremost, you will need to create a Metamask digital wallet. If you’ve never received an NFT and are unsure what to do, no worries, once you’ve registered your interest we will provide you with the step by step instructions. In the meantime, feel free to familiarise yourself with Metamask here.
Tiger 888 is a collection of 888 individual NFTs celebrating the Year of the Tiger. The number 8 is considered to be a lucky number in many cultures, which is why we’ve decided to mint 888 NFTs exactly.
The entire collection has been created and designed in-house by the CFTE team.
You can claim your free NFT starting 8th February 2022 at 8 AM GMT. Once you have submitted your email in the form above, we will be in touch with you via email to guide you on the steps.
Tiger 888 will be launched on the Polygon chain. We’ve made the conscious decision to use Polygon instead of Ether to be more eco-friendly.
Polygon uses proof-of-stake consensus algorithm instead of ETH’s proof-of-work, which requires a lot more energy to mine.
If you are eligible, submit your Metamask address to receive Tiger 888. You can do this starting 8th February 8 AM GMT. Further instructions will be sent out to you via email.
Quantities are limited and NFTs will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, or according to the order in which you submitted your metamask address. It is therefore possible that in the case of an oversubscription, you might not be able to claim your gift.
As supply is limited it is possible that you won’t be able to claim your free NFT, however, no need to fret! With Tiger 888 we’ve only taken our first steps into the world of Digital Art, so be on the lookout for more!
