Let your professional network know about your Fintech and find more career opportunities.
Whether you are seeking to integrate digital technology within your company, concerned about the compliance of new technologies in finance, exploring new career paths in Fintech, or feeling uninformed about this lucrative industry – our Fintech Specialisation is suited for you.
The Fintech Specialisation has been accredited under the Institute of Banking and Finance Standards Training Scheme (IBF-STS) which provides course fee subsidies to all Singaporean citizens and permanent residents with a valid Singpass.
Singaporean citizens under the age of 40 are eligible for a 70% subsidy. Those over the age of 40 are eligible for a 90% subsidy. This makes the Fintech Specialisation heavily discounted – get the course for only SGD 54 – SGD 162.
Permanent Residents (PRs) are eligible for 70% off, meaning they can access the course at SGD 162.
Please note that all eligible participants are required to successfully complete the course within 3 months from the date of enrolment for IBF-STS funding. Incomplete programmes will not be eligible for funding claims and the learner thus being charged the full enrolment fee (SGD 540).
Participants already enrolled in the Fintech Specialisation are not eligible for the subsidy, even if still in progress with the course.
For corporate customers, please write to firstname.lastname@example.org for enquiries.
This specialisation is composed of 4 individual courses.
Anyone who wants to have a solid understanding of FinTech should take this specialisation. If when hearing about Fintech you cannot fully understand the term, how it is affecting traditional financial institutions and the opportunities and threats it is bringing to existing businesses and jobs, this specialisation provides you with the answers you need to succeed in the era of Finance 2.0.
At CFTE, we pride ourselves in offering courses for professionals, by professionals and offering a global view – this is how we compare with the market. The Fintech Specialisation has been designed to help the majority of people start with the right foundations in Fintech and digital finance. With this objective in mind, The Fintech Specialisation will provide you with a clear understanding of how technology is impacting finance through an accessible format and with industry experts as senior lecturers. This is done through videos, readings, and insights from CEOs to make the learning experience accessible. You will be able to take the course fully online and at your own pace, so you can be in charge of your proper upskilling. At CFTE, we believe there is an urgent need for all to learn the right skills for a world of digital finance, and we support all initiatives that are supporting the same goal.
We break our programmes into two types: short courses and specialisations. Our specialisations are a bundle of all of our short courses relating to an overarching topic. Specialisations allow learners to get a comprehensive and well-rounded understanding of a given topic in its many areas. If you have previous experience on this specialisation’s subject or you are interested in learning more about a specific area of it, you can enrol in the individual course that covers your area of interest, instead of taking the whole specialisation. Feel free to chat with us if you’d like some advise on which one would suit you best!
There are no strict prerequisites for taking the course. The FinTech Specialisation aims to provide anyone interested in finance (in its wider definition) with a general overview of the trends in FinTech and digital finance, with the right balance between content that is easily accessible but that also provides insightful knowledge.
The FinTech Specialisation has been designed by CFTE with the help of 4 senior lecturers who not only have proven to know how to teach but are also practitioners of Finance 2.0. These are Andrei Kirilenko, Dan Liebau, Huy Nguyen Trieu and Janos Barberis. Each one of them has been involved with FinTech lectures in major universities and draw from their own experience as practitioners to share relevant and up-to-date insights, making the courses engaging, packed with knowledge and up-to-date with the market. Visit their biographies in the course descriptions to learn more about them.
