Rahul Banerjee

Founder & CEO Bondevalue

Rahul is a fixed income banker with deep expertise in Asian debt markets. He is passionate about equal access and transparency in bonds. Prior to starting BondEvalue in 2016, Rahul was the global head for International Corporates, Financial Market Sales at Standard Chartered Bank. His team was based across all the major SCB dealing rooms and provided Fixed Income solutions to their clients. He was also a member of the bank’s Capital Markets, global management team. During the early part of his career, he worked in the financial markets teams at Nomura (Singapore), Credit Suisse (India) and Citibank (HK & India). He graduated from Delhi College of Engineering and did his MBA from the Indian School of Business (Deans List), where he also received the HSBC scholarship for leadership. He did his Doctorate from the Singapore Management University (SMU), with a thesis on trust in non-human actors. He received a merit award for academic performance at SMU. He regularly teaches and speaks on bond markets and fintech. He also holds two engineering patents in his name. Rahul lives in Singapore with his wife and two daughters.​

He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford, a postgraduate diploma from the University of London and is a CFA charter holder.

Gaurav Dhar

Gaurav Dhar is the CEO of the Payments Solution Provider Marshal in Dubai. Gaurav has been working at Marshal for over 19 years now He strives to continually be on the frontier of building FinTech ecosystems and solutions. His personal time is spent on working with and investing directly in innovators, with a view to the future of Fintech both locally and globally via his cache of relationships which include VCs, incubators, accelerators, and start-ups and Angel Syndicates. In his position as a board member of the MENA FinTech Association and several advisory positions to international family offices, start-ups, and funds, he looks to grow the relationships within the FinTech and start-up ecosystem to contribute towards the education of budding disruptors and eventually the growth of economies and the job market where possible in the MEA Region and abroad.
